In the past few years we have undertaken several commissions to build boats to customer specifications.

The boat featured on this page is the 'Reed Lighter', a boat specially designed for use on the Norfolk broads by English Nature, a conservation organisation. These boats are also available for purchase from Cox's.

At Cox's we developed the GRP mould from which we create the hull as well as undertaking all of the woodwork in house.

Also featured (right) is the 'Tern Raft', a special raft designed and built for for conservation purposes. The top is filled with sand, they are then towed out into a broad, where they are anchored. These sandy platforms then allow terns to nest and reproduce away from the threat of on-land predators.
